We would like to bring to your attention a serious fraud incident recently discovered by our company. It has come to our notice that a fraudulent entity has registered a fake Makrite company in Dubai and created unauthorized email accounts impersonating Makrite personnel.
Please note that Makrite does not have any company or office established in Dubai. Any communication claiming to be from a Makrite entity in Dubai is fraudulent.
This unauthorized party has used these fake email accounts to contact customers and instruct them to transfer payments to alternative bank accounts.
Makrite Industries Inc. has not issued any request to change payment accounts through email alone. Any legitimate modification of remittance details will always follow our formal verification procedures. We will never rely solely on email communication to request a change of bank account information.
If you receive any suspicious message requesting a change of payment details, Do not proceed with the transfer. Instead, please contact your regular company representative by phone through our official communication channels to verify the information:
